Day 1
We leave the hotel areas around 09.00 hours and travel to Sindola Safari Park at Kanili where a park ranger will take you to find zebras,
hyenas, deer, and other wild life.
A packed lunch is served before moving on to travel up country to Tendaba Camp
situated 165 kms from Banjul on the banks of the river and surrounded by woodland with a plethora of birds, bush hogs, and other wild life. This is a typical safari camp and one
of the first to be built in the Gambia. The rooms are comfortable and have cooling fans.
Overnight at Tendaba. Bed, Breakfast, Buffet Dinner.
Day 2
Travelling further up country on the way to Georgetown we stop at the Wassu Stone Circles believed to be an ancient burial ground.
On arrival at Georgetown we visit the underground slave market and experience the hustle and bustle of the town.
Over night at Jangjangbureh Camp. Bed, breakfast, buffet dinner.
Day 3
Depart from Georgetown and return to Tendaba Camp where you can enjoy a relaxing
cruise through the creeks in a typical African Pirogue seeing the water birds and other wild life that inhabit the creeks
Overnight at Tendaba. Bed, Breakfast, Buffet Dinner.
Day 4
This is an early start to the day as we are visiting the Kiang West National Park where
guides will take you on Safari through the park where you will be expected to see bush hogs, hyenas, monkeys and other wild life.
After a packed lunch we set out for Banjul visiting the Albert Market to buy last
minute souvenirs before going to Bakau to visit the famous sacred crocodile pool at Kachikally.
Finally it is time to return to your hotels for a well earned rest!
