Lady Jacerene

Relax aboard the luxury motor yacht "Lady Jacerene" whilst cruising the majestic
River Gambia.

We leave Banjul Port at around 09.00 hours.

A Guide is on board to take you to the villages of Albreda and Juffureh, the former home of "Roots" and Kunta Kinte. Inspect the relics of a bygone age in the slave museum. Meet Binta Kinte alleged relative of Kunta Kinte.

Enjoy a luxury buffet lunch whilst crossing to Fort James Island, the notorious slave island, scenes of many battles and a lasting reminder of mans inhumanity to man, a reminder of history that no man should be proud of.

Returning down river we look for the many groups of Dolphins that can be seen feeding or playing in the river. If the waters are calm we stop for a swim

We arrive back at Banjul Port around 17.00 where transport waits to return you
to your hotels
