CAPITAL SIGHTS and RIVER CRUISE
This historical tour gives you an insight into urban life, history and tradition of the capital city of The Gambia "Banjul" originally named "Bathurst".
Driving into the city we pass the "Arch 22" and many of the old colonial buildings, arriving at the National Museum.
From there we move through the city to the Albert Market where many different sights and smells await you.
After the hustle and bustle of this busy market we continue to the port of Banjul where we join M.Y. Lady Jacerene for a relaxing lunch aboard whilst cruising in the local waters.
After lunch we return to the port and continue by road, we make an optional visit to a local Gold and Silversmith and pass the main Mosque of Banjul, to visit "Arch 22"
built to commemorate the Second Republic of the Gambia where there are breathtaking views of Banjul and the surrounding countryside
Leaving the city we return you to your hotels.
